My project is to create awareness about the existence of a ‘shadow’ in everybody’s deepest consciousness. Since childhood we carry a ‘shadow’ with us but do not bother to face this inner being, preferring instead to adapt to social stereotypes that surrounds us.
My narrative based animation tries to show how “someone” else decides the identity we are expected to grow into. From the moment we are dressed in a costume, which will be very difficult to take off, we start building our shadow with things that we do not accept about ourselves.
